Partnerships for
Children ("PFC")

In 2021, the Summit Foundation formed a new community partnership with Partnerships for Children (“PFC”). PFC was founded in 2003 to bridge the gap between limited government resources and the growing needs of children and families in the care of Child Protective Services (“CPS”). The mission of PFC is to make tomorrow better than today by supporting and empowering children, youth, and families involved in CPS. Although Summit Foundation will continue to support other nonprofits, PFC is our primary community partner. The partnership consists of a donation made to the organization annually and various hosted service events for Summit employees in support of PFC’s resource, mentoring and support programs.

Other Service
Events

In addition to our community partnership, we provide our team members with other charitable engagement opportunities. Most notably, we have participated in disaster relief efforts, built a sustainable garden for child learning and development at Variety’s Peaceable Kingdom Retreat for Children, held various in-kind donation and blood drives, and participated in the Central Texas Food Bank’s mobile food pantry. Over the past six years, we have supported 24 families and 160 family members by providing gifts on their holiday wish lists through Any Baby Can, SAFE Alliance and PFC. Since 2020, we have assembled 1,250 hygiene kits to support victims of sexual or domestic violence through SAFE Alliance. Since 2022, we have collectively donated over $11,000 to 17 nonprofit organizations during Amplify Austin Day, our local day of giving in Central Texas.

Clean the World Foundation

In 2018, we partnered with Clean the World Foundation, a global health organization committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities around the world. They provide sustainable resources, programming, and education focused on water, sanitation, and hygiene for people affected by poverty, homelessness, or humanitarian or natural crises. We engage Clean the Word to recycle soap and plastics from our lodging assets. The impact of our partnership with Clean the World since 2018 is as follows:

197,556

Bars of soap distributed

12,290

Lbs. of waste recycled

3,490
